NETWORK ENGINEERING

At H2, we understand that paramount to an effective information security program is the management of organizational risk

Within the framework of any company, a network engineer is a technology expert who possesses the capability of designing, planning, implementing, and satisfying the technical specifications of the various computer networks needed to support any in-house wireless networks, data networks, voice networks, or video networks being utilized. While a network administrator helps maintain and trouble-shoot any issues that may present themselves in the daily operation of the networks, a network engineer is needed to lay the groundwork. At H2, our network engineers are trained and highly skilled in meeting the technologically advanced demands of our clients. We are able to interpret their needs to design, plan, and implement the networks that will sustain their business and grow their efficiency, their productivity, and their profitability.

Such a level of skill demands that a network engineer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in network administration, information technology, or computer science. These proficiencies better equip a network engineer to properly select components of data communications needed by a corporation and their end users and to configure them. For the construction of highly advanced networks integrating the use of LAN, WAN, the Internet, and Intranet, network engineers also perform the crucial function of modeling and analyzing the network to perform more reliably and at its highest level.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

The management of software applications in an enterprise includes the distribution of new software and an upgrade of existing software.

A software engineer is a systems technology expert whose function includes preparing an organization’s computer servers for the installation of software as well as configuring the software, loading it with data, maintaining it, and making any necessary upgrades. At H2, we have trained system administrators to perform such services for our clients to ensure that their day-to-day functions can be maintained with efficiency.

In fulfilling such a highly technical role, these individuals are crucial to the core systems at play in each organization, as any software being utilized will naturally require expertise to keep it operating properly. With so many software driven systems at work within each company, any disruptions to the applications or failures may cause a great deal of damage, but a system administrator

is specially trained to repair breakdowns and report them to the proper channels to minimize and sometimes even prevent serious issues

Software engineering is also a role that requires the ability to help prepare end users to put the application into use, as they understand the software to a degree that allows them to instruct others. They can also plan and coordinate tests for potential changes, upgrades, and new applications to ensure that all systems will be able to operate correctly in the event that changes are implemented. Any needs within the organization for the testing of software applications, debugging, or modifications to the systems will be handled by a software engineer, as well.

SHAREPOINT ENGINEERING

We help organizations plan effective SharePoint deployments that optimize the core capabilities.

With full Microsoft certification in providing Deployment and Planning Services (SDPS), H2 also holds certification in SharePoint (MCTS), offering clients such technology services as:

Deployment and Planning Services: As a Microsoft certified SDPS provider, H2 assists organizations in planning effective SharePoint deployments that will optimize the core capabilities of SharePoint to align and integrate them with their specific core business processes. We provide our clients with the training, tools, and support necessary to achieve successful deployments that will meet their organizational goals and budget.

Deployment Support: Not every client is able to implement the SDPS plan for themselves, and H2 consultants will be available to deploy the SharePoint system, evaluate and perform a test of system operations, and provide any necessary training.

Deployment Support: Not every client is able to implement the SDPS plan for themselves, and H2 consultants will be available to deploy the SharePoint system, evaluate and perform a test of system operations, and provide any necessary training.

User Support: Certain SharePoint roles including Portal Administrators and Site Administrators generally require more experienced knowledge of the network systems. To help our clients gain such proficiency, H2 will customize an individualized program for on-the-job training to expedite the learning processes.

End User Training: H2 training is designed to provide a broad overview of functionality across different user experiences. SharePoint Core training focuses specifically on features that are used with the most frequency and will be the most advantageous in gaining proficiency, while training programs such as Super-User, Site Owner, and Site Administrator training provides users the most comprehensive instruction needed to maximize the application and amplify operational productivity gains. Training is offered at a Training Center or can be given on-site for groups or on an individual-basis to provide customized training solutions as needed.
